Selection criteria for wheels and rollers for hand pallet trucks

The choice of nylon, polyurethane or rubber wheels or rollers depends on several factors:

  • Polyurethane or Vulkollan: They offer greater durability on smooth surfaces and with heavy loads. They are quieter than Nylon due to their capacity to absorb impacts, and do not leave marks on the floor, provided they are in good condition. However, they tend to wear out sooner than nylon.
  • Nylon: They are ideal for uneven floors and changing conditions, excelling in wet and cold environments. Although their durability is high, they are not silent and can leave marks.
  • Rubber: Perfect for mixed indoor and outdoor work, especially on uneven surfaces. They offer a smoother ride and less noise, being suitable for light to medium loads.
