How does Controlpack's VCI stretch film work?
The anti-corrosion stretch film is made of VCI compound, an inhibitor that evaporates on the metal surface in the form of molecules. Parts wrapped with VCI film are completely covered by a protective barrier of molecules, which prevents external agents such as moisture or oxygen, responsible for rust and corrosion, from coming into contact with the metal. Once the film is removed, there is no need to provide any special treatment to the metal article, as the layer of molecules evaporates naturally without posing a risk to living beings.
