Manual strapping machine for 13 mm polypropylene straps
The manual strapping machine is a resource for strapping pallets and goods in a simple way using 13 mm polypropylene (PP) strap. It is robust, comfortable and easy to use, as it allows the clamping and strapping action to be performed with a single lever. It uses staples (seams) to join both ends of the strap and maintain a strong and durable tension. It is usually used with PP strap, the most suitable and recommended material for this activity.
It is also an ergonomic machine and in high demand in the industry. The strapping system consists of a tensioning roller with joints. This machine model is usually accompanied by a reel carriage or coil carriage, the main complement that favors greater mobility and greater comfort when moving the coil of strap.

Strapping process
- Surround the goods (either a package or a pallet) with the polypropylene strap and place the tip of one end of the strap between the base of the strapping machine, with the seal peeking out from under the mouth.
- Then place the other end of the strap - with which we have also encircled the goods - over the grooves of the cutting sleeve and the tensioning shaft, passing it first through the closing mouth.
- Once the polypropylene strap is well positioned in the strapping machine, place the strapping clamps.
- Insert the clamp with the strap already well positioned. Once achieved, move the lever until the desired strapping tension is obtained.
- Carry out the strapping by lowering the strapping machine arm, applying the joint on the strap.
- Finally, cut the excess strap with the same tension lever, moving it backwards to achieve the cut.
