Description

Rotoplat Wrapping Machine

Rotoplat wrappers have always been synonymous with high operational reliability, simplicity of use, ease of maintenance and, above all, rigorous compliance with safety standards.

In response to the growing demand for customization and optimization of packaging according to specific product characteristics, Robopac will present for the first time Multilevel Control, the innovative hardware and software solution present on all models of the Rotoplat Series 8 stretch wrapper. The practical 7-inch color touch screen with icons specially created and designed by Robopac, has allowed the implementation of the Multilevel Control function.

Multilevel Control

Multilevel Control is the standard solution and is present on: Rotoplat 108 FRD, Rotoplat 308 FR, Rotoplat 508 PDS and Rotoplat 708 PVS. A function that can be enabled in a simple and intuitive way in each of the six storable programs.

The product height can be divided into 5 different levels, all adjustable in thickness, and for each of them it is possible to regulate the film draft, the pre-stretching (only on motorized trolleys), the reinforcement turns, the platen rotation speed, the trolley speed, the type of film bead and, in addition, the presence or absence of the containment presser (obviously only if present as an option).

And that's not all. Each of the 5 levels can be configured with values dependent on the direction of movement of the carriage, or different values between ascent and descent, which contributes to film saving and cycle time reduction, with the undoubted advantages for productivity. The operator can choose during the configuration phase, in a simple and intuitive way, how many and which levels will be active during the automatic packaging cycle. In this way, each product can be packaged with its own customized cycle, a cycle that allows optimal containment and protection and considerable savings on the stretch film used.

Rotowrap - FR Trolley — **FR trolley** - The FR trolley is equipped with an electromechanical film stretching device, controlled by an electromechanical brake; it is possible to control it from the control panel. The start of the brake is timed, in order to facilitate the hooking of the film at the base of the bed.

Rotowrap - PDS Trolley — **PDS** - Spool **carriage** with double stretch system that can be activated from the control panel. The reel carriage has a 250% fixed prestiro, by pressing the "Double Stretch" button the reel carriage can automatically switch to variable prestiro by activating the electromagnetic friction located on the first prestiro roller.

Rotowrap - PVS Trolley — **PVS carriage** - Carriage with pre-stretch rollers, with double independent motorization, with adjustment, from the control panel, of the pre-stretch ratio from 150% to 400%. Film deposition force on the load, adjustable from the control panel and controlled by the patented electronic device.

Dish and mast

Rotoplat - Turntable — **Turntable** **1650 mm** - The new turntable with front and rear fork insertion ensures maximum flexibility in the movement of the machine. The platen is mounted on ball rollers, with high load capacity. The drive of the plate is carried out by a high resistance chain, to avoid slipping and to ensure absolute constancy in the rotation. The plate is built with grooved plate, to ensure greater adherence of the bench, thus preventing the product from slipping during wrapping.

Rotoplat - Pan support — **Plate support** - The plate rotates on the ball rollers in pairs, which ensure greater load support. The rollers are covered with polyacetal material, in fiberglass matrix, which ensures a low friction coefficient during the table movement and a very high resistance to compression, as well as a high stability in terms of possible deformations. All this guarantees the best possible performance and reduced wear of the moving parts of the table.

Rotoplat - Phase stop — **Phase stop** - The phase stop, which allows the operator to retake the pallet always in the same position at the beginning of the cycle, involves great advantages, increasing the efficiency of the wrapping operations. The start and stop of the table are controlled by a variable speed drive, so the wrapping cycle always ends in the start position.

Rotoplat - Mast — **Mast** - The steel mast is built with a tubular structure, which gives it high torsional and bending rigidity; these characteristics make the mast more resistant. The high-strength chain transmits the up and down movement of the trolley, ensuring optimal control of the envelope. In addition, the anti-kickback device guarantees maximum safety in case of emergency.
